AUSTRALIAN NRL & WEST TIGERS STARS, BENJI MARSHALL AND JAMAAL LOLESI COMING TO TOWN FOR SP CUP GRAND FINAL.

SP Brewery Senior Brand Manager Peter Watinga announced that SP Brewery and PNG National Rugby League have lined up some exciting activities leading to the Grand Final and are looking forward to having Marshall and Lolesi being part of it. From the airport, Marshall and Lolesi will be visiting the SP Brewery premise at Gordons to meet the management and staff before the Grand Final dinner in the evening.

“Benji will be our guest speaker at the SP Cup Grand Final Dinner on 22nd September at the Crowne Plaza where SP Cup franchise teams and sponsors will be attending,” said Mr Watinga

The Grand Final Dinner will also highlight the two SP Cup Grand Final teams. On Saturday 23rd September, the two West Tigers stars will visit the school boys’ rugby league competition which is organized by PNGNRL in the morning at Murray Barracks.

Marshall and Lolesi will then proceed to join the SP Cup Grand Final Motorcade around the city at 11:00 am and end up at the Port Moresby Rugby League Oval at 2:00 pm where they will kick off the semi-final game of the PRL competition.

  “We are also organizing ‘Meet Benji and Jamaal’ sessions in some of the outlets in the evening of the 23rd September,” said Mr Watinga, “however information on the venues will be announced on a later date.

On 24th September which is the SP Cup Grand Final match day, the two stars will be at the School Boys training sessions in the morning prior to officiating at the SP Cup Grand Final in the afternoon.

“We are also pleased to announce that Bill Harragan has once again agreed to be the referee of the SP Cup Grand Final game,” said Mr Watinga.

The three will be leaving Port Moresby on Monday 24th September.
