PURCHASING MANAGER
Based in Port Moresby and reporting to Senior Management, this position is responsible for:
- Developing, recommending & implementing purchasing strategies and procedures.
- Managing day to day sourcing & purchasing of supplies and services at the most competitive costs, consistent with approved quality & delivery standards.
- Negotiating favourable freight rates and conditions, appointing shippers, freight forwarders & transport contractors.
- Liaison with other departments re production planning.
- Liaison with Finance Department re budget planning, and timely payments.
- Monitoring, training & developing subordinate staff.
The person we seek for this challenging role will be mature, hold a University Diploma or Degree in Commerce/Economics, preferably together with professional training in Supply Chain Management.
Proven experience and competence in negotiation and placement of overseas contracts, together with a detailed knowledge of international markets and supply sources is required.
Computer literacy with competence in automated purchasing systems, plus high levels of oral & written communication skills in English and a track record of personal leadership skills, organising ability and integrity are essential. |
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Based in Lae and reporting to the Chief Engineer, this position is responsible for:
- Ensuring day to day upkeep of all electrical plant & equipment maintenance through deployment, supervision, training and development of the electrical maintenance team.
- Ensuring adequate resources and electrical spare parts availability.
- Ensuring proper planned inspections and maintenance are carried out in a timely manner.
- Supervising the electrical aspects of all engineering projects and schedules.
The person we seek must hold a University Degree in Electrical Engineering or a Diploma from a Technical College, hold a PNG Power Electrician’s License and preferably have an instrumentation/PLC background.
A minimum of 3-5 years (for a Diploma Holder – 10 years) hands on experience in electrical maintenance work in an Industrial Food Processing plant is required.
Applicants must be able to prove they are resourceful, have initiative, are able to work odd hours and with minimum supervision.
Drive, energy, enthusiasm and strong leadership skills are essential.

TECHNICAL TRAINING OFFICER - LAE
Based in Lae, and reporting to the Training Manager, this position is responsible for:
- Controlling, monitoring and administrating training programs for trainees at all levels.
- Ensuring that all employees are skilled & competent in their respective jobs, by liaising with Line Managers on their requirements.
- Facilitating and implementing quality training & development programs, which will allow staff to achieve their agreed KPIs.
- Management of technical training resources.
The person we seek will hold a University Degree in Education, Mechanical Engineering, Food Technology, Business Studies and/or Human Resource Management and will have at least 3 years “hands on” experience in a similar training role, within a medium to large, modern organization.
High standards of oral & written communication skills in English, confident, articulate and outgoing people and presentation skills, superior organization and drive, energy and enthusiasm are required. A proven track record of achieving real results in this area is essential. |
PURCHASING OFFICER
The Purchasing Officer will assist the Senior Purchasing Manager in:
- Ensuring Company purchasing policies and procedures are complied with and updated as and when necessary to reflect Company needs.
- Sourcing for alternate suppliers of materials and services required by the Company and to purchase materials, components, equipments and services at the most competitive costs.
- Negotiating competitive freight rates and the appointment of shipping lines, freight forwarders and transport contractors to move materials/equipments safely and promptly to desired locations.
The requirements for this position are:
- Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and organisational skills

Auditor/Assistant Auditor in our Finance
Department at our Head Office in Port Moresby.
Reporting to the Internal Auditor, the Auditor/Assistant Auditor
will assist the Internal Auditor to review systems and operations to assess the
extent to which organizational objectives are achieved, assess the means of
safeguarding assets and verifying their existence, ascertain extent of compliance
with established policies and procedures and recommending improvements in

SENIOR SALES REPRESENTATIVES (3)
Based in Port Moresby and reporting to the Regional Operations Manager (Southern), these positions are responsible for:
- Planning, organizing, controlling and monitoring the day to day activities of their sales team to achieve sales targets.
- Ensuring efficient operations of warehousing and distribution functions in the region within defined budgets, by keeping abreast of all developments within the market place.
- Ensuring all budgeted overheads are within defined parameters by careful analysis and monitoring of all expenditure.
- Ensuring company credit policies are adhered to.
- Ensuring that the company has a positive and responsible image by fostering good relationships and by leading the Sales Team in implementing approved sales/marketing/promotion activities and being continuously alert to new opportunities.
The people we seek must hold a degree in Marketing, Business Management or a related field. Post graduate education or training/courses are desirable.
Applicants must have at least 2-3 years experience in sales/marketing management with exposure to all elements of the sales/marketing mix.
An outgoing/extroverted personality with proven high levels of personal initiative, drive and energy, communication, people and team leadership skills are essential qualities.
