GET ready Port Moresby and Lae residents because you are about to see dance talents in these two cities compete in the all new Ice Dance Competition scheduled from 23rd November to 22nd December.

According to the event organizer Total Event Company (TEC), auditions were held last weekend at the Balus Bar in Port Moresby and in Lae at the Club 69.

TEC’s Esther Gegelagi said that Lae residents still have a chance to audition and can contact TEC on 321 3222 or PNGFM Lae office on 472 1025 for more details.

In Lae, the first heat will be on Friday 23rd November and in Port Moresby, on Saturday 24th November. The event will continue for three weekends before the semi’s and the finals.

“Its going to be a great night of entertainment in Lae and Port Moresby, to see these dancers to get down and groove on the dance floors of Balus Bar and Club 69 and showcase their talents,” said TEC’s Ms Gegelagi.

Ms Gegelagi mentioned that SP Brewery has put aside a total of K5,000 in prize monies for this event of which K3,000 will be awarded to the winner, K1,500 for runner-up and K500 for the third place.

“SP Brewery is proud to once again provide an opportunity to young talents to showcase their hidden talents through our Niugini Ice brand,” said SP Brewery Marketing Manager Mr. Tzao Shen Tan. “And we look forward to being part of this exciting event this weekend.”
