K10,000 FOR LUKIM PNG EXPO

SP BREWERY presented K10,000 to the Lukim PNG Nau Expo Organizing Committee for the 2005 Lukim PNG Expo.

In presenting the cheque, SP Brewery Marketing Manager Mr Albert Veratau said: "SP Brewery is proud to support the event on its second year again under our premium brand South Pacific Export Lager ."

The event showcases PNG as a tourism destination through the setup of display stalls with PNG-Made products, arts and crafts and information about PNG.

"As its been said time and time again, Papua New Guinea is rich with natural resources, magnificent tourism destinations and diverse culture. We also have a variety of PNG-Made products which SP Brewery’s Award Winning Beers are a part of and we are all proud these ," said Mr Veratau.

"We took up this sponsorship as we are proud of what PNG has on offer and more so because the Export Lager brand is indeed about promoting a sense of national pride. "

"One thing that I have said when we presented K10,000 to this event last month and would like to emphasize again, is that our country has a lot to offer but needs to be marketed to the global community. "
