Total Production Management Coordinator - Lae

We have an immediate requirement for a Total Production Management (TPM) Coordinator, based in Lae, reporting to the Brewery Manager.

Main duties include:

  • Assist Functional Leadership Teams with the digital transformation and challenge and supports them on how digital tools can help the team to close the gaps in their priorities.
  • Provide support to all departments with implementing HEINEKEN Safety, Food Safety, and Sustainability standards and ensure these are followed within all the operations, for both own and outsourced processes/
  • Challenge departments and colleagues to close the GAP and challenge steps linked to priorities and business needs.
  • Support the Quality Leadership Team, to identify quality risks.
  • Conduct spot checks on the shop floor on the implementation & evaluation of local quality procedures, and work instructions, in line with applicable quality regulations and the HEINEKEN Rules, Standards, and Procedures.
  • Ensure Functional Teams drive technological production processes in all departments with a special focus on Safety, Food Safety, Quality, and Cost, from raw materials to production, in the planned amounts and desired quality.
  • Check the Functional Teams if the machines in their department fulfill basic conditions and if not advise on how to close the gap.
  • Support the Functional Teams with loss-driven training and execution.
  • Ensure Functional Teams are using the right tools to reach and drive operational excellence and zero loss culture.
  • Provide clear and accurate information for the brewery performance, according to agreed KPIs.
  • Provide support, and challenge people with finding, sharing, and uploading information like standards, good practices compliances, etc. on HEINEKEN digital tools.
  • Coordinate with the Functional Leadership team on resources planning for the appropriate TPM/Pillar activities, and support and monitor the execution and progress of the planning, linked with the priorities.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s education level.
  • 3 – 5 years of beverage technological experience.
  • TPM/Lean/6 Sigma, etc.
  • Packaging/Brewing/Quality of Brewing/Biotechnology/FMCG production management, or other production environments.
  • People management – Building winning teams.
